As for my 909, the setup was perfect, arrived in 2 days and I enjoy every minute I have with this fine instrument. I can only imagine what it will sound like once it matures and opens up. I recently ordered an MJZ G909A and am happy to report the violin arrived quickly, and safely in perfect condition along with a beautiful case, a bow, and certificate of authenticity. The violin arrived already set up and ready to go. While this is brand new (violin was made in 2025), I was amazed at the rich, resonant, warm, yet open sound of the instrument (on the stock Dominant strings) – just in the first few days of playing. If this is the starting point, I think this will turn out to be an incredible instrument as it opens up further and matures over time.
